Galaxy AI is the most exciting part of One UI 6.1, the latest version of One UI that first appeared on the scene with the Galaxy S24 series in early 2024. Samsung has built a powerful suite of features that use the power of both on-device and cloud-based artificial intelligence to assist you in your day-to-day life without becoming intrusive.

While it was initially speculated that Galaxy AI would be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 and any new devices that launch in the future, Samsung confirmed early on that the Galaxy AI experience would be coming to older devices with the One UI 6.1 update.

However, not all devices are eligible to get Galaxy AI. Some of you may already know which devices are eligible, but for those who don't, we have created the list you see below for easy reference.

Galaxy devices that have or will get Samsung Galaxy AI features

As you may have noticed, and as we have repeated quite often in our coverage of Galaxy AI, the list of supported devices initially only included flagship phones and tablets launched in 2024 and 2023.

To its credit, Samsung hasn't ruled out the possibility of Galaxy AI coming to devices launched before 2023, so there's hope that the list above will get longer as the months pass by. In the meantime, if you own a Galaxy device not included in the list, there are alternatives that you can use to get an experience that mimics that of Galaxy AI.

Samsung has since confirmed that select Galaxy AI features will also be available for 2022 and 2021 flagship phones. The features will be released for these devices through the One UI 6.1 update. All future Samsung flagships are slated to feature Galaxy AI.
