Like its phones, tablets, and smartwatches, Samsung regularly refreshes its lineup of wireless earbuds to bring new features and improvements to the listening experience. The last Galaxy Buds Samsung launched were the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which were announced alongside Samsung's flagship foldable phones in August last year, and now, Samsung seems to be preparing the Galaxy Buds 3 for a launch later this year.
There have been next to no reports of Samsung working on new wireless earbuds until now, so it's impossible to say what new features and improvements the Buds 3 will have. We have a few things we would like to see on Samsung's next earbuds, but whether or not our wishes will come true also remains to be seen. The only thing we know is that the Galaxy Buds 3 are in the works, at least if the latest rumor from the world of Twitter is to be believed.
Galaxy Buds 3 will probably launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Tab S9
The same rumor also says the Galaxy Buds 3 are “coming soon”, although we don't expect Samsung to launch the new earbuds before its next Unpacked event in the second half of 2023, where the Korean giant will also unveil new foldables and flagship tablets. Going by the tradition Samsung has been following the last few years, that event should take place sometime in August.
Another tradition that we don't think will be broken this year is how leaks and rumors tend to reveal all the details about upcoming Samsung products before they go official – the same is likely to be the case for the Galaxy Buds 3. As usual, we'll keep an eye out for such leaks and rumors and will let you know once we get any more information, so stay tuned!
