While Android 14 is already being tested by some smartphone users, Samsung fans still have a ways to go before they get the chance to do the same. Some Samsung devices are also still being updated to One UI 5.1, which debuted with the Galaxy S23 series, and today it is rolling out to the Galaxy F12.
The Galaxy F12 is a budget device that runs the Core version of One UI. It launched with Android 11 and was updated to Android 13 and One UI Core 5.0 early this year, and the One UI Core 5.1 update is now available for the device in India.

The update comes with firmware version F127GXXU4DWD1 and includes the March 2023 security patch. Naturally, it also includes a number of new features. Apps such as Camera, Gallery, Weather, Modes and Routines, and Samsung Internet have picked up new functionality to improve the user experience, and there are also a few other enhancements sprinkled in. If you own the Galaxy F12, you can try downloading the update from the phone's Settings » Software update menu. The download size for the over-the-air update is a little under 1GB, so you'll want to be sure you're on a Wi-Fi connection or have enough mobile data bandwidth.
