After silently unveiling the Galaxy A02 in Thailand yesterday, Samsung appears to be ready for the launch of the Galaxy M02. Since the Galaxy A02 and the Galaxy M02 are extremely similar in terms of design and specs, we are not sure if we would see them in the same markets at the same time.
Samsung has started teasing the Galaxy M02 for the Indian market. It published the phone's design, launch date, and possible pricing on a dedicated webpage on Flipkart. The smartphone will be launched on February 2 in India, and it will be priced somewhere around INR 6,999. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V LCD display, a plastic body, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy M02 is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It could debut running Android 10 with One UI 2.x, and we expect to sport a 5MP selfie camera and a 13MP+2MP dual rear-facing camera setup. Other features to expect are GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and a microUSB port.
