The Galaxy M02s is priced at INR 8,999 (around $123) in India for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs INR 9,999 (around $137). The phone will be available soon via Amazon.in, Samsung's online store, and authorized retail stores. The Galaxy M02s features a 6.5-inch TFT LCD Infinity-V screen with HD+ resolution. It runs Android 10 with One UI 2.x and is equipped with the Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M02s with a 5MP selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture. The new phone has a triple-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It can record 1080p videos as well.

The Galaxy M02s features GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, LTE, Wi-Fi g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. True to its ‘Max Up' tagline, the new smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is compatible with 15W fast charging. It will be available in three colors: black, blue and red.
