Samsung's new affordable smartphone, the Galaxy M02s, was launched in Nepal earlier this week. Now, the South Korean firm has brought the phone to the Indian market. Samsung has announced the features of the phone, along with its pricing for the Indian market.
The Galaxy M02s is priced at INR 8,999 (around $123) in India for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs INR 9,999 (around $137). The phone will be available soon via Amazon.in, Samsung's online store, and authorized retail stores. The Galaxy M02s features a 6.5-inch TFT LCD Infinity-V screen with HD+ resolution. It runs Android 10 with One UI 2.x and is equipped with the Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M02s with a 5MP selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture. The new phone has a triple-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It can record 1080p videos as well.
The Galaxy M02s features GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, LTE, Wi-Fi g/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. True to its ‘Max Up' tagline, the new smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is compatible with 15W fast charging. It will be available in three colors: black, blue and red.
