It's been known for a while now that Samsung is due to launch a new Galaxy M series phone in India. The company had confirmed earlier this week that the Galaxy M04 would be officially launched on December 9.
The day has come and those looking forward to this device finally know when they'll be able to pick one up. Samsung has confirmed today that customers will be able to pick up the Galaxy M04 starting December 16.
Galaxy M04 sales begin December 16 in India
The Galaxy M04 takes the baton from the Samsung Galaxy M03. This particular series has proven to be quite popular down in India so the company would be expecting similar stellar performance from the latest model. The Galaxy M04 features a 6.5-inch HD+ resolution display and a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset under the hood. It's available with up to 8GB of RAM.
The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel shooter at the back and a 5-megapixel camera up front for selies. A 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Samsung is shipping this device with Android 12 Go Edition and One Ui 4.1 Core. The optimized version of the OS is meant to ensure smooth performance on a low-end device like the Galaxy M04.
Customers will be able to purchase the device in Mint Green, White, Gold, and Blue colors. Prices start at Rs 8,499 (~$100) for the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The Galaxy M04 will be available for purchase starting December 16 from Amazon.
