Samsung has launched a new version of the Galaxy M15 5G in India. The original Galaxy M15 5G was launched in India on April 8, and the Galaxy M15 5G Prime is a higher-end version of the same phone. Apart from higher RAM, the phone's specifications remain similar to the regular Galaxy M15 5G.
Galaxy M15 5G Prime has 8GB RAM
The Galaxy M15 5G Prime comes with 8GB RAM, 2GB higher than the highest-end variant of the vanilla Galaxy M15 5G. All other specifications remain similar to the original version of the phone. It is priced at INR 13,499 (~$161) and is available for purchase through Amazon India and Samsung India websites. The phone comes in three colors: Blue Topaz, Celestial Blue, and Stone Grey.

The phone has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 800 nits of peak brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone has a 13MP selfie camera. It can record 1080p videos at 30fps using front and rear cameras. It can also record HD slow-motion videos at 240fps.
The Galaxy M15 5G Prime uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card for storage expansion. It runs Android 14 (One UI 6.1) and will get four major Android OS updates. It will get security updates for up to five years.
The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It has GPS, a dual-SIM card slot with 5G compatibility, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Samsung Knox, and Voice Focus.
