The Galaxy M53 5G in Thailand is launching for 12,999 baht ($379), but customers buying the device before June 15 get a 500 baht ($15) discount along with one free year of Samsung Care+ worth 1,399 baht ($40), and a 25W super-fast wall charger worth 990 baht ($29).
For the next two weeks, Samsung is also cutting 3,000 baht ($87) and 2,000 baht ($58) off the Galaxy M33 and Galaxy M23 prices.
The Galaxy M53 5G is Samsung's more powerful model of the three. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in storage, and a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging capabilities.
Samsung's Galaxy M53 5G is an adequate mid-range phone, but it is not quite as powerful as the Galaxy M52 5G, which is odd, given that the M53 is newer. This is because Samsung switched from a Snapdragon to a MediaTek chipset.
