Samsung's One UI 5.1 update went live to older devices before the Galaxy S23 series even exited its pre-order period. And that's yet another impressive fact about Samsung's stellar firmware support lately. It looks as though new One UI versions released alongside new hardware are no longer held to ransom by Samsung. The company is willing to roll out new updates to as many customers as possible as soon as they are ready for release.
Samsung is now turning itsits attention to one of its more popular mid-range phones under its belt: the Galaxy M53 5G. The latter is now receiving One UI 5.1 through firmware version M536BXXU2CWB3 in Europe. More specifically, as of this writing, the One UI 5.1 update is available for the Galaxy M53 5G in Ukraine and Russia. The package also includes the February 2023 security patch.
Although it is an incremental update building on top of One UI 5.0, version 5.1 brings quite a few noteworthy additions and upgrades to the general UI and numerous Samsung apps, including Camera, Gallery, Settings, AR Zone, and more. You can find more in our video below, where we dive deeper into the latest changes and new features. Keep in mind that we used the Galaxy S23 Ultra for our demonstration, and you might not have the same experience on the Galaxy M53 5G once you apply the update.
In markets where Samsung has made One UI 5.1 available for the Galaxy M53, users should be able to download it by accessing the Settings app on the phone, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install.
