We have spotted several Galaxy smartphones running Android 15 on the Geekbench benchmark website over the last couple of months. Now, we can add another device to the list: multiple entries of the Galaxy S21 FE with Android 15 onboard have popped up on Geekbench recently.
The Galaxy S21 FE joins the ranks of its siblings, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, all of which were spotted on the Geekbench database running Android 15 and One UI 7.0 before the Fan Edition model joined the party.
While Android 15 and One UI 7.0 are being tested for all Galaxy S21 models, Samsung will probably release the update for the base, Plus, and Ultra models first and then bring it to the FE model a few days later. However, we are only guessing here. There is no way to know what Samsung's Android 15 and One UI 7.0 release schedule is going to look like.
As always, Samsung will prioritize more recent devices when it is ready to roll out the next major Android and One UI upgrade. For those wondering, Android 15 will be available for beta testing on select Galaxy smartphones before the finished version is released. The Galaxy S21 series will likely be on the list, though access may be restricted to the non-FE models.
