The Galaxy S21 series is among the numerous Samsung smartphone lineups expected to receive the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update. The Galaxy S21 trio of flagships hit the market in January 2021, and they're eligible for four major OS upgrades thanks to Samsung's updated firmware policy.

When will the Galaxy S21 series receive One UI 6.0? Only Samsung knows, and even the company is likely uncertain of the firmware's release date as of this writing.

However, we will keep track of Samsung's progress and update this article as soon as more information on Android 14 for the Galaxy S21 series comes out. If you're a Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, or even a Galaxy S21 FE user, or if you want to keep up to date with the development of One UI 6.0 for the 2021 flagship series and the 2022 Fan Edition phone, you may want to bookmark this page and check back regularly for news.

This page tracks the development of both the beta and the public Android 14 One UI 6.0 updates for the Galaxy S21 series. Here is the information available so far.

Galaxy S21 series Android 14 One UI 6.0 live update tracker

May 30, 2023: At this time, there's not a lot of information to go by regarding the availability of the public Android 14 One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series. But if the release timeframe of the One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S20 series last year is any indication, the Galaxy S21 trio might get One UI 6.0 in November 2023.

Galaxy S21 series Android 14 One UI 6.0 beta update tracker

May 30, 2023: Samsung has yet to announce its plans for the upcoming Android 14 One UI 6.0 beta program. In theory, the Galaxy S21 series should be invited to a beta program in select countries later this year. As a point of reference, the Galaxy S20 series was added to the One UI 5.0 beta program in September 2022. A similar timeframe could apply this year to the One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy S21 series.

July 18, 2023: The first signs of the One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series emerged. A One UI 6.0 beta firmware was discovered on Samsung's servers in India and the UK, carrying version number G996BXXU9FWG6.

Galaxy S21 FE Android 14 One UI 6.0 update tracker

May 30, 2023: Samsung didn't invite Galaxy S21 FE users to the One UI 5.0 beta program last year, so chances are that it won't do it for the One UI 6.0 beta this year. But technically, the Galaxy S21 FE is eligible for the public Android 14 update whenever it may roll out. Once again, using the Galaxy S20 FE and One UI 5.0 as a point of reference, the Galaxy S21 FE could get the stable Android 14 One UI 6.0 update in November this year.
