As we approach the Galaxy S23's launch early next month, its features and specifications are getting leaked. Its battery, camera, and display specifications were leaked a few days ago. Now, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra's RAM and storage specifications have been revealed.
According to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, Samsung has listened to its fans and is bringing an important upgrade. The South Korean firm may be doing away with 128GB base storage for the Galaxy S23 series. The base variants of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra all seem to feature 256GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also be available in 512GB and 1TB storage variants.
Yes, the South Korean firm used to upgrade users to 256GB versions of its phones without any additional cost during the pre-order or discounts period, but those offers were limited to the US and some other markets. So, everyone around the world will be happier this year. While the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ seem to feature 8GB RAM, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature 12GB RAM.
The tipster also claims that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a relatively flatter display compared to its predecessor. This change should improve the S Pen experience while writing and drawing on the screen. All Galaxy S23 models will run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box. This newer version of the software could bring some more lock screen customization options.
