One UI 6.1 debuted on the Galaxy S24 lineup in late January, and as is the case with every new One UI version, One UI 6.1 will be arriving on many older devices through a software update.
Samsung revealed last month that the update will first be released for flagship Galaxy devices launched in 2023, which include the Galaxy S23 series (FE model as well), Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9/S9+/S9 Ultra, sometime in March, and while there seem to have been a few delays, the wait is finally over.
Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series. It is available in the US on Verizon's network and should soon reach unlocked units as well, in addition to other carriers in the US and countries outside the USA.
Galaxy S23 One UI 6.1 update has lots of exciting features
One UI 6.1 brings many exciting features to users. The update includes all Galaxy AI features that are available on the Galaxy S24 series, and you can see them in action in the video below.
To check if One UI 6.1 is out in your country, navigate to its Settings » Software update menu and hit the Download and install button. It may take some time for the update to reach all countries, so be sure to check frequently over the next few days if the update isn't available on your device on the very first day of its release.
For those wondering, the Galaxy S23 FE will be getting One UI 6.1 alongside the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. One UI 6.1 firmware for all four models will be available on SamMobile and can be used to manually upgrade your phone.
