The Galaxy S23 series has been a hit for Samsung. In fact, the Galaxy S23 Ultra was the sixth best-selling smartphone in the world for a couple of quarters. The overall sales of the Galaxy S23 series have reportedly crossed the 25 million mark, and Samsung thinks that the Galaxy S24 will sell in even more numbers.

Galaxy S24 sales could cross 35 million

According to a new report from TheElec, Samsung is aiming to ship over 35.2 million Galaxy S24 series smartphones by the end of next year. The company expects the sales of the Galaxy S24 to reach 13.5 million units, while the sales of the Galaxy S24+ could reach 5.8 million units. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely sell more than the other two models in the lineup, at 15.9 million units. The 200MP primary camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reportedly be supplied by Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. The 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera's lens could be supplied by Sunny Optical and Namuga. The 50MP telephoto camera's housing and lens could be supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical. MCNEX and Namuga could supply the 12MP selfie camera module.

The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ could come equipped with the Exynos 2400 processor in most countries, while in the rest of the countries, the devices will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, though, will exclusively use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor with a slightly higher clock speed for the CPU and the GPU.

All these phones will reportedly feature brighter screens (up to 2,600 nits for Galaxy S24 Ultra), improved performance, better camera quality, and newer software will several AI features. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will also feature a titanium frame for higher strength. The Galaxy S24 is said to feature a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ will have a 4,900mAh battery. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. All three phones will have stereo speakers, IP68 rating, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Type-C port, ultrasonic fingerprint reader, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
