
Samsung is rolling out the latest security update to the Galaxy S25 lineup. This update includes the March 2025 security patch that Samsung detailed at the beginning of the month and will make the devices more secure.
The update is out in Korea at the time of writing but should be making its way to other markets soon. According to the update's build number (S938NKSUAYC3), there are more just security fixes included in it, but there appear to be no visible changes.
Samsung's latest flagship lineup gets its second software update
Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra owners can download the update by heading into the phone's Settings » Software update menu and tapping the Download and install button. Alternatively, they can download the latest firmware from SamMobile and install it on the device using a Windows PC.
This is the second software update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra since they went on sale in early February. Samsung's new flagship lineup runs Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box and will get software updates for seven years. Those seven years will bring both OS and security upgrades.
