Samsung is rolling out the March 2025 update for the Galaxy S25 series in many more markets following the initial release in Korea on March 20.
On March 24, the update started making its way to Europe and the US, in addition to Asian markets such as India. It should now be available globally and should reach every Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra by the end of the week.
The latest Galaxy S25 update brings the March 2025 security patch to Samsung's latest flagship. The update's build number (S938BXXS1AYC2) indicates there are no other changes; some users have reported smoother scrolling inside apps such as X, but that could just be the placebo effect in play.
You can download the latest update on your Galaxy S25 series phone by navigating to its Settings » Software update menu and tapping the Download and install button. Once downloaded, the update will install in the background thanks to the seamless updates feature. After installation is finished, your phone will be on the latest software after a quick restart.
Galaxy S25 firmware are also available for download from SamMobile and can be installed by using Samsung's Odin tool on a Windows PC over a wired USB connection.
