Samsung usually releases public beta versions of One UI for its smartphones and tablets. However, the company has announced a beta update program for its smartwatches for the first time. The South Korean firm announced through its official forum that it will soon release the One UI Watch Beta update for the Galaxy Watch 4.
The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will get the One UI Watch Beta update in South Korea on June 2, 2022. The update will be limited to standard versions of the two smartphones, so if you have any special edition smartwatch, you can't participate in this beta program.
Samsung is yet to reveal which new features or design changes would be a part of the upcoming version of One UI Watch. Since the release of the Galaxy Watch 4, the South Korean firm has released multiple new watch faces, improved fitness tracking, and other features via software updates.
How to apply for Galaxy Watch 4 One UI Watch Beta update program?
As usual, registrations for the One UI Watch Beta update will be accepted through the Samsung Members app. South Korean Galaxy Watch 4 users can check the Samsung Members app on the paired smartphone. After finding and clicking the One UI Watch Beta program banner, entering an email ID registered with the Samsung Account, and accepting consent, users would be registered.
All registered users can download the One UI Watch Beta update on their Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on June 2, 2022. The update could be expanded to other markets, including China, Europe, India, and the US within the next few days.
