Samsung is going big with its new smartwatch lineup. It is expected to announce at least three new Galaxy Watches next month. At its next Galaxy Unpacked event, the South Korean firm is likely to unveil the Galaxy Watch FE, whose name has been accidentally confirmed by Samsung.
The first rumor about this smartwatch appeared a couple of months ago.
Galaxy Watch FE name seems to be confirmed
The Galaxy Watch FE name has appeared on Samsung's own website, which is meant for the US market. The webpage's title and URL mention the upcoming smartwatch's name, along with its dial size (40mm) and connectivity (Bluetooth). It also mentions the smartwatch's model number (SM-R861).
As you can see in the screenshot above, this webpage appears to be for business customers who want to buy the Galaxy Watch FE in bulk. Samsung seems to have accidentally published the webpage. It also mentions pricing for bulk ordering, but that information is hidden under a blurred effect. However, previous reports claim the entry-level variant would be priced at $199.
The Galaxy Watch FE appeared to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which was launched almost three years ago. Its model number (SM-R861) closely matches the Galaxy Watch 4 (SM-R860). A few days ago, the features and specifications of the Galaxy Watch FE were leaked.
