Samsung has finally announced the One UI 5.0 beta program for its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The One UI 5.0 beta program is now open in South Korea and the UK, and it could reach other markets, including Germany, India, and the US very soon.

If you live in South Korea or the UK, and if you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or the Galaxy Z Fold, you can now beta-test Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software on your phone. To do that, you need to download and install the Samsung Members app on your phone, sign in using your Samsung account, and tap on the One UI 5.0 Beta program announcement banner on the home screen of the app.

Once you're done with the registration process, you will be notified about the One UI 5.0 beta update as soon as Samsung releases it. Or, you can check for the update manually by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. The beta update is usually quite buggy, so you need to consider it before installing it on your phone.

One UI 5.0 brings a refreshed UI design, featuring an expanded Color Palette feature, new widgets, and improved lock screen customizations. Samsung has streamlined the design of notifications as well. The company has also improved all of its stock apps and simplified privacy and security features.
