Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 Indian pricing revealed

Samsung's latest Unpacked event took place in South Korea yesterday (July 26), where the company announced its new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and gave us details on their pricing and release dates. The two devices will be going on sale in many markets on August 11. Samsung India announced last night that it would reveal how much customers in the country will have to pay to buy either device on July 27.

Now, Samsung has confirmed the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in India (via Gadgets360).

Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5 prices in India

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 price in India starts at INR 154,999 (~$1,891) for the 256GB version, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will cost INR 99,999 (~$1,220) for the base model (256GB). Here is the detailed pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in India for all storage variants:

  • 512GB: INR 109,999 (~$1,342)

Galaxy Z Fold 5

Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5: Colors, pre-order date, and launch date

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in India in four colors: Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Mint. If you order online, you get access to three more color options: Blue, Gray, and Green.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be sold in Cream, Icy Blue, and Phantom Black colors. The 512GB version of the phone is only available in Icy Blue. When you order from Samsung.com, you can get the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the exclusive Platinum color.

Pre-orders start today (July 27, 2023), and the devices will reach buyers on August 18, 2023.

As usual, Samsung India is offering various benefits, including early delivery, to those who pre-reserve or pre-order these phones. Those who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will get an upgrade bonus of INR 12,000 and a cashback of INR 8,000 on select bank debit and credit cards.

If you pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung offers a free storage upgrade. For instance, if you pay for the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 5, you will get the 512GB version without any additional charge. A cashback of INR 8,000 is also applicable while buying the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

If you pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 5 during the Samsung Live event, you will get a Silicon Case With Ring worth INR 4,199 for free. If you pre-book the Galaxy Z Fold 5 during the Samsung Live event, you will get the Silicon Case With Strap (worth INR 6,299) for free.

We expect Samsung to announce more details about pre-order offers later today. The company could also announce the pricing of the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic later today.
