Earlier this month, Samsung announced a beta program for the Game Launcher app that comes pre-installed on Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Joining this program would allow enthusiasts to access certain features earlier than other users, but there could be a few bugs and stability issues. Today, the company has released a new beta version of the Game Launcher.
The latest beta version of the Game Launcher app brings (via @RydahDoesTech) some design tweaks. While the company hasn't published the list of changes, improvements, and new features, we can see from a screenshot that Samsung has made subtle design tweaks to the app. The top bar now displays the Rewards section shortcut and a three-dot menu button along with the user profile name and image. It also has a small banner that can be used to see what's new in the Instant Plays section.
The Instant Plays section now has a bigger banner on the home screen of the Game Launcher app. Below that, you can find recommended game titles. Toward the bottom, there appears to be a quick access bar to access the games that are installed on a Galaxy smartphone. There doesn't appear to be a bottom bar that previously had Home, Instant Plays, and More sections. On the whole, the new design looks a bit cleaner compared to the current design.
The Game Launcher beta program was active from March 6-March 17, 2023. Only those who registered to be a part of the beta program would get this new design. It isn't clear when other Galaxy smartphone users will get access to this new UI design.
