Samsung is enriching its Gauss Generative AI model with information from 20,000 telecom-related academic papers made available by the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences.
The Korean consumer electronics company has partnered with the Institute to use the telecommunication academic papers to train its Generative AI model, Gauss (via The Korea Herald).
Samsung's AI is getting cleverer
The tech giant announced Gauss in November at the Samsung AI Forum 2023 event. The Generative AI model, developed by Samsung Research, serves as the foundation of future AI products and technologies that will eventually become available to the general public.
The Galaxy S24 series is expected to become the first Samsung phone to offer AI tools based on the three main components of the Samsung Gauss suite, including Gauss Language, Gauss Image, and Gauss Code.
