Samsung has seemingly given the whole world a glimpse of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 through a new official video published earlier today on YouTube. The video titled “Voices of Galaxy” has app developers talking about Good Lock and how the platform changed and evolved over the years. More importantly, one of the developers featured in the video can be seen briefly using a Galaxy Z Fold 3, all the while wearing the Galaxy Watch 4 on their wrist.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is covered by a leather case, leaving the camera housing partly visible. Needless to say, the video is not very revealing, but the bits and pieces that are naked seemingly match all the design elements that were revealed through leaked renders last week.
The leather case appears to cover the hinge as well as the exterior display, and it seems wide enough to accommodate an S Pen, though it's difficult to tell with certainty from the video.
Galaxy Watch 4 with silver bezel and leather band spotted
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 wasn't alone in the recent video, and the same developer that gave us a glimpse of the foldable device was also wearing a new Galaxy smartwatch, presumably the Galaxy Watch 4.
The wearable has a silver rotating bezel and flat side buttons. The watch is attached to a leather strap rather than a silicone one, so it's likely that Samsung will be selling both.
The rest of the video goes on to discuss Good Lock and how users are helping developers shape the platform. Sadly, Good Lock is a geo-restricted service that's still not available worldwide, and only time will tell if this will change with the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Both the foldable device and the Galaxy Watch 4 are expected to be unveiled at Samsung's upcoming event in August.
