Samsung's plans to bring Good Lock to the Google Play Store were revealed recently when it was spotted on the Play Store by some eagle-eyed users. Samsung removed the listing later, and it has now provided an update on its plans to make the app available on Android's official app store.
According to a member of the Good Lock development team, the Play Store listing was accidental, which is why it was removed soon after. They also suggest that the official Play Store release isn't too far away, though they stopped short of providing any specifics.

The Play Store release may also coincide with the app coming to more countries around the world. As you may already know, Good Lock is not available in every market. The first version of the app hit the Galaxy Store eight years ago, and while Samsung has extended its availability on multiple occasions since then, there are still many countries where users can't download it officially.
Even after Good Lock goes live on the Play Store, we don't expect it to become available in every country where Samsung sells Galaxy phones and tablets. However, it will hopefully be an important step in Samsung's journey towards that goal, as Good Lock is far too powerful and awesome a customization app to be limited to select markets.
