Earlier this year, two Samsung home appliances received high praise and level ‘Diamond' certifications from UL Solutions for their high IoT security. Those two home appliances were the Bespoke 4-Door Flex refrigerator and the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI vacuum cleaner. Today, Samsung announced it received even more awards and has just become the company with the largest number of level Diamond verifications in the home appliance industry.

UL Solutions is a global safety science company that evaluates the security of smart devices through its IoT Security Rating Program. UL Solutions ranks devices in five categories, i.e., Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, depending on the security level the IoT devices offer.

Obviously, Diamond is the best rating only the most secure IoT devices can earn after rigorous testing. More Samsung devices went through this testing phase, and now, the company says it has received Diamond verification for three more home appliances.

The home appliance company with the most Diamond certifications

The Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, the Air to Water Heat Pump, and the Bespoke Slide-in Range series all received Diamond certification from UL Solutions in recent months.

These three home appliances connect to mobile devices through SmartThings. In essence, they are IoT (Internet of Things) products, and UL Solutions thoroughly tested them to determine just how secure they are.

It turns out that Samsung's home appliances are secure enough to earn the highest rating, thanks to the Knox platform, which runs not only on Galaxy mobile devices but on connected Samsung home appliances alike.

Samsung says, “Customers can utilize AI features of product lines with confidence, having been assured of their strong security performance.”

Thanks to these three new certifications, Samsung has just become the home appliance company with the highest number of Diamond-level certifications obtained from UL Solutions. Samsung customers can connect their devices freely, knowing that their data is secure and doesn't leave the network without authorization.
