The Samsung Expert RAW camera app is getting a new update this week. Owners of supported devices can visit the Galaxy Store and download version 2.0.09.1 of Expert RAW – the update should be available for everyone already, but if not, you should see it on your phone in the next few days.
That's because version 2.0.09.1 was actually released a few weeks back but has been limited in reach for a long time. Now that it is rolling out for a wider audience, it shouldn't take long to reach everyone with a compatible device.
And it's not like this is an important update. The changelog simply mentions that it improves image quality and fixes some bugs. We couldn't notice any image quality differences on the devices we tested the new version of the app on, though if you were facing some bugs this update will hopefully fix them up.

As for more substantial Expert RAW updates, there isn't anything on the horizon. However, those who use the Camera Controller app to take photos on their phone using their Galaxy Watch as the shutter button will be pleased to know that Samsung is considering adding support for Expert RAW to the Camera Controller app, which is something that is missing right now.
The latest Expert RAW app can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store using this link on your phone. If that link doesn't work, manually open the Galaxy Store on the phone, search for Expert RAW, and then hit the Update button.
