Samsung Health is now getting a new feature update and full One UI 5.1 support. The company is now rolling out Health version 6.23.3.003, and with it comes the integration of Natural Cycle's algorithm, announced in mid-February.
The official changelog for Samsung Health 6.23.3.003 reveals that the function to share food and body composition is now better, thanks to One UI 5.1 support. Furthermore, the update adds a Sleep widget for the home screen, and the “Measure” feature is applied to body composition, heart rate, etc.
Natural Cycles comes to smartwatches for the first time ever
One other big change introduced by the Samsung Health 6.23.3.003 update is that Women's health has been changed to Cycles tracking. Natural Cycles integration was announced in mid-February, and it is the first time this ground-breaking algorithm is coming to a smartwatch.
Cycles complies with CE marketing requirements and is approved by the MFDS in Korea and registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The integration with Cycles adds temperature-based menstrual cycle tracking to the Galaxy smartwatch lineup through this Samsung Health update. However, as per the original announcement, it is exclusive to the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, the latter of which is now available at a $30 discount.
