Samsung's marketing blitz for its new flagship smartphone has begun and the company has released a slate of new ads that highlight the best Galaxy S9 features. These particular ads have been made for its home market of South Korea but we can expect these very features to figure prominently in commercials made by Samsung for various other markets across the globe.

Best Galaxy S9 features

One of the best Galaxy S9 features highlighted by the very first ad is the Super Slow-motion video feature. Both the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ are capable of recording slow-motion video at an impressive 960 frames per second, the highest possible on a smartphone today. You can no doubt capture some very entertaining videos with this feature which essentially stretches an extremely short moment into a few seconds. Bear in mind, though, that Super Slow-motion videos are shot at 720p.

The second ad focuses on something that you won't find in any other smartphone on the market today. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ feature a variable aperture rear camera and can switch between f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture to improve low-light imaging performance and provide sharper daytime shots. As you can probably imagine, the rear camera has already proven to be award-worthy.

Samsung is marketing AR Emoji as one of the best Galaxy S9 features. It uses the front camera to map your face and create a digital avatar of the user that can then be tweaked for more accuracy. The avatar can be animated with the user's voice and facial movements. It also creates a set of stickers using that digital avatar which can be shared with other people through messaging apps.

The ads highlighting all of these best Galaxy S9 features can be viewed below. What are some of your favorite features of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+? Let us know in the comments section. While we're on the subject of Samsung's new flagship, don't forget to read our detailed Galaxy S9/S9+ review.
