To help young people realize their passion for innovation and technology, Samsung Electronics held an inauguration ceremony for ‘Galaxy Campus Friends' in Vietnam for college students. At the ‘Galaxy Campus Friends event in Vietnam, located in Southeast Asia and Oceania, where more than half of the world's young people live, Samsung selected the first group of college student ambassadors.
Samsung held the ‘Galaxy Campus Friends' event at the ‘Samsung Showcase' in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, November 24, where it selected 50 student ambassadors. These students were selected via a competition, and they will help spread the features and benefits of using Samsung Galaxy products to university students and share their thoughts and opinions of young Vietnamese people on Samsung products.
Samsung will also offer content creation classes and mentorship to selected students
Samsung Electronics will offer the latest Galaxy products to the selected college students and will allow them to use the latest gadgets. Moreover, during the one-year period, the students will also get benefits such as career mentoring, digital content creation classes, and volunteer work to help develop their digital capabilities and explore various careers.
Apart from the ‘Galaxy Campus Friends', Samsung also conducted the ‘Galaxy Campus Tour' at the Vietnam Trade University (FTU) in September and Ho Chi Minh University of Economics (UEH) in October to let students directly experience various Samsung Galaxy products.
Cho Sang-ho, Vice President of Southeast Asia at Samsung Electronics, said, “Galaxy Campus Friends’ is a program where Samsung and college students grow together. Starting with Vietnam, more college students in Southeast Asia and Oceania will gain diverse experiences and create positive values through Samsung.”
