FIFA World Cup 2022 is underway, and to celebrate the event alongside soccer fans (or “football” fans, depending on where you live in the world), Samsung Canada has decided to organize World Cup watch parties at its Experience Stores in Toronto and Montreal. The company has teamed up with Canada Soccer for the occasion.

Samsung will organize the watch parties at the Experience Store at CF Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario, and the Experience Store in Centre Eaton de Montréal, Quebec. The watch party in Toronto will celebrate the Canada – Belgium match scheduled for November 23, the Canada – Croatia match on November 27, and the match against Morocco on December 1. Samsung's Experience Store in Montreal will host a viewing party on December 1 for Canada's match against Morocco.

Samsung and Canada Soccer have one other surprise for soccer fans who will be attending the Experience Store watch parties: legendary Soccer Women's National Team captain, Christine Sinclair, will join fans for the opening watch party on November 23.

This is Canada's first FIFA World Cup appearance in 36 years, and the excitement among soccer fans is almost palpable. According to Samsung Canada Senior Director Steven Cull, “soccer in Canada is continuing to grow at a rapid pace, with our teams consistently showing up on the world stage. We are proud of our partnership with Canada Soccer, and look forward to welcoming Canadian soccer fans into our Samsung Experience Stores to take part in the excitement.”
