The Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds are getting a new firmware update. It's the first to roll out in the month of October, though the Buds 2 were also updated a couple of times before in September.
The latest update carries firmware version R177XXU0AUI9 and weighs a little under 3MB. It's not a major release by any means, but according to the short changelog, the update should improve system stability. So, if you ever experienced stability issues while using the Galaxy Buds 2, this latest update might address them. Then again, the last couple of firmware updates had the same changelog.
Samsung began rolling out the new firmware update for the Galaxy Buds 2 in South Korea, though as usual, other markets should follow suit. Galaxy Buds 2 owners can always check if new updates are available via the Wearable app on their connected smartphones or tablets.
The Galaxy Buds 2 arguably are the best wireless earbuds from Samsung. They have a comfortable fit, good sound quality, and great ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) capabilities. They were released for $199, but customers can often buy them for cheaper through limited-time deals.
