Samsung India extends device warranties further amid coronavirus crisis

Samsung India extended device warranties a couple of months ago amid the coronavirus crisis, as shops and service centers around the country have had their usual schedule altered by recent events. The company initially extended product warranties until May 31; however, since the economy hasn't yet fully recovered, Samsung India is now extending device warranties even further. Therefore, any products whose warranties expired between March 20 and May 31, 2020 can still be serviced under regular warranty conditions until June 15.

Samsung India has been doing a lot to alleviate the negative effects of the coronavirus lockdown, from donating funds and supplies, to bringing tens of thousands of offline retailers online in an attempt to boost sales, support local businesses, and continue to serve its customers. The company's Exclusive Stores in India have become operational again, all the while acquiring Suraksha Store certificates to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its customers and employees.

Extending device warranties is just one of the many things Samsung had changed about its business, even if only temporarily, to support its partners and customers in these trying times. These renewed warranties should be most welcomed by eligible Samsung fans in India, but then again, we're hoping the company won't have to extend them even further in the near future. We'll keep you posted.
