After introducing the Galaxy A31 and the Galaxy A71 5G in a few countries, Samsung has launched those mid-range smartphones in Australia. The Galaxy A31 will be available in the country starting Monday, while the Galaxy A71 5G can be purchased from May 20. The Galaxy A31 is priced at A$499, while the Galaxy A71 5G costs A$899.
The Galaxy A31 will be available through Samsung's online and retail stores, and from all major retailers, including Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, and The Good Guys. The Galaxy A71 5G, on the other hand, will be available through Samsung retail stores and website. The 5G phone will also be sold through select carriers, but the South Korean firm has not revealed the names of those carriers.
The Galaxy A31 will be available in Prism Crush Black and Prism Crush Blue, while the Galaxy A71 5G will be sold in two colors: Prism Cube Black and Prism Cube White.
Garry McGregor, Vice President of Mobile & IT, Samsung Electronics Australia, said, “The growing mid-tier market journey is well documented, for us the Galaxy A20 was one of the most popular smartphones of 2019. So, we understand that a large proportion of our local audience wants to consider their spending, but also desire access to the latest technology.“
