Along with the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic at the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, there is one more variant of the Galaxy Watch 6 on sale that most of you might not know about: Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Golf Edition. Yes, that’s right. Samsung has launched the Golf Edition of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Unfortunately, it is currently available only in Korea.

Galaxy Watch 6 Golf Edition has a slight design change and Smart Caddy app

So far, Samsung has launched the Golf Edition of almost every Galaxy smartwatch that ever came out. However, the special edition typically arrives a few months after the launch of the standard version. This time, however, the tech giant has launched the Golf Edition alongside the standard models, at least in South Korea, which is good news for golf lovers. Going by Samsung’s launch history, it should bring the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Golf Edition to markets like the US, Canada, and Europe in the next few months.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Golf Edition is based on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It comes with a few design changes and extra features. For starters, the dial of the smartwatch has a green accent, which seems to illuminate in dark environments. Then there’s the special strap, which has green stitching to emphasize the nature of the sport. Along with it, you get special watch faces that go with the theme of the game. Plus, it comes pre-loaded with the Smart Caddy app and a free subscription to the service.

In South Korea, Samsung is offering the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Golf Edition in 43mm and 47mm sizes. However, it is available only in Bluetooth flavor. There’s no LTE variant on offer.

Galaxy Watch 6 Golf Edition: Pricing and availability

The 43mm model is priced at KRW 49,24,80 (around $386), whereas the 47mm costs KRW 52,04,10 (around $408). In comparison, the standard variant of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is available for KRW 39,93,80 (around $313) and KRW 43,66,20 (around $342) for 43mm and 47mm models, respectively.
