Samsung Malaysia: Trade your old Galaxy Note for the ‘new Note’

The Galaxy Note lineup is dead, but only in name. The essence of the Galaxy Note lineup lives on through Samsung's Galaxy S Ultra line of smartphones, as the S Pen is now an integral part of each new Galaxy S Ultra.

There are many folks who continue to use their old Galaxy Note smartphone, and many who own a Galaxy Note 20 or even a Galaxy Note 10 have not felt the need to upgrade their phone just yet. But Samsung Malaysia has a nice new offer to help change that: Note owners in the country can now upgrade to the Galaxy S23 Ultra and get a nice little rebate.

From now until June 30, Malaysian customers who decide to pick up a Galaxy S23 Ultra can get a rebate of up to RM1000 (~$215) when trading in an old Note. Even upgrading to a Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S23+ will fetch customers a rebate, though that is not really an upgrade path Note fans will want to take.

Samsung Malaysia also has an RM500 instant rebate for trading in non-Note Galaxy phones, though just how many devices are eligible for this offer is not made clear. But if you were thinking of buying a new phone and want to pick up a Galaxy S23, S23+, or S23 Ultra, you can head over to Samsung's website and fill in the necessary details to find out for yourself.
