Keeping up with the release schedule, Google rolled out the Android 13 Beta 3 update yesterday for supported Pixel phones. The update comes in about a month's time after the second beta.

There are a bunch of new features introduced with Android 13, but not all features may make their way to Samsung devices as these could be limited to Pixel phones.

Samsung's One UI 5.0 beta to launch in the coming months

The stable version of Android 13 is scheduled to arrive sometime this fall for all supported Pixel devices, and later on for other OEMs. Speaking of features, Android 13 Beta 3 reaches the Platform Stability milestone, meaning that all app-facing behaviors in the operating system, as well as APIs, are now final. Now app developers can start working on Android 13 compatibility for their apps.

App developers can find essential documents with regards to Android 13 by clicking here. Android 13 brings revamped privacy and security changes, better support for tablets and large screen devices, new notification permissions, a new photo picker, themed app icons, and much more. It also brings support for HDR video, Bluetooth LE Audio, and MIDI 2.0 over USB.

However, not all features will be available on Samsung Galaxy phones in the future. But just like the previous instances of One UI, with One UI 5.0, Samsung could implement some of the crucial features of Android 13 if they aren't present already. For more information on Android 13, you can check out the official developer's release notes.

We've exclusively reported that One UI 5.0 will improve UI animation speeds. Samsung is also likely to make some cosmetic changes to the upcoming iteration of its custom Android skin.
