As the launch of the Galaxy S25 is nearing, Samsung is making sure that One UI 7.0 is ready for prime time. It has already released three beta versions of One UI 7.0 and is now updating all the companion apps to work with the new software. The company has now updated Multi Control for One UI 7.0.
Multi Control gets updated on Galaxy Books for One UI 7.0
The Multi Control app on Galaxy Books running Windows 11 has been updated (to version 2.2.1200.0) to work with devices running One UI 7.0. Once updated, it will work without major issues when using the Multi Control feature between your Galaxy Book and your Galaxy phone or tablet.
Samsung's Multi Control app allows you to use the same keyboard and mouse/trackpad between Galaxy laptops, phones, and tablets. It also allows you to drag and drop files from one device to another.
The Multi Control feature even works with Samsung DeX mode on Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The feature also works on Samsung's Odyssey, Smart Monitor, and ViewFinity series monitors running Tizen OS 8.0 and smart TVs launched in 2024.
The story continues after our Galaxy Book 4 Ultra video below.
How to use Multi Control on Galaxy laptops, phones, tablets, and TVs?
You need to ensure that both devices have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Multi Control turned on. You also need to be signed into the same Samsung Account. Once they are synced, you can use a built-in keyboard or mouse from the Galaxy Book on your phone, tablet, monitor, and TV or pair a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
