Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled a new type of speaker: Music Frame. At CES 2024, the Music Frame was unveiled as a dual-mode speaker that can work independently and double up as a supporting speaker for a Samsung TV. It is now available for pre-order in the USA.
The Music Frame (HW-LS60D) is $400 in the USA and is almost ready to ship. If you pre-order it today from Samsung.com, it should arrive at your doorstep by April 1, 2024. It comes in white, but you can customize the bezels of its frame, just like you can with Samsung's The Frame TV. The speaker blends with home decor and perfectly complements Samsung's The Frame and The Serif lifestyle TVs. It has a photo holder, and you can attach a square printed photo to that holder.

Since this speaker features Q-Symphony 3.0, it can be paired with a Samsung TV and a Samsung soundbar for an expansive audio experience. It has six speakers—two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and two woofers—for a total audio output of 120W RMS. The woofers are backward-facing, while the tweeters and mid-range drivers are forward-facing. It can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall.
The Music Frame uses Samsung's SpaceFit Sound technology to calibrate itself according to the room's dimensions. It is compatible with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, and Hi-Res Audio. It also has an Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound, and Wireless Dolby Atmos. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. It has Alexa and Bixby, and it can be controlled using the SmartThings app.
