Samsung's new external battery pack, whose model number “EB-P3400” was revealed in previous leaks, is now official. The power bank is not available for sale yet, but Samsung's website has revealed everything about it, save for the price.
The new battery pack has a capacity of 10,000mAh and supports 25W fast charging when charging a single device. The power bank supports the Power Delivery 3.0 USB standard and can charge two devices at the same time. However, charging speeds go down to 9W for dual charging, and the power bank's retail box includes only one USB-C cable.
Samsung's online shop also mentions that the power bank's exterior was manufactured from UL-certified recycled materials. The battery's shell contains at least 20% post-consumer recycled content.
The color of the Galaxy S23 Ultra?
The 25W power bank is listed in only one color, namely Beige. It's not a uniform color, as it appears to have a bit of a gritty finish.
According to previous bits of unofficial information, the new power bank's Beige color is very similar to one of the Galaxy S23 Ultra's color options. We're guessing that the 2023 flagship phone won't have the same gritty finish, but the beige color shouldn't be too far off from what we're seeing in the official renders below.
There's no word yet on when the power bank will be available for purchase, and likewise, official pricing details are missing. But now that the product is listed on an official Samsung e-shop, it probably won't be long before customers get the option to buy it online. Will it be available before the end of the year? Hard to tell. It could be, but if it won't, we're betting that it will at least go on sale before the expected launch of the Galaxy S23 series in early February.
