Ahead of the CES 2025 expo that will start next week, Samsung has unveiled its new monitor lineup. The company's monitor lineup for this year includes four new OLED monitors: Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF), Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF), Odyssey 3D (G90XF), and Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF).
One of these monitors can reach up to a 500Hz refresh rate.
Odyssey OLED G6 has a 500Hz refresh rate
The new version of the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) for the year 2025 raises the bar for gaming monitors. The 27-inch monitor features a QHD resolution and an unbelievably high refresh rate of up to 500Hz. It is the first OLED monitor to reach such a high refresh rate, perfect for esports and high-frame-rate gaming.
It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications. Both monitors likely use Samsung Display's QD-OLED panels.
Odyssey OLED G8 is world's first 4K OLED with a 240Hz refresh rate
The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a 4K resolution, a 165ppi pixel density, and a 240Hz refresh rate. In fact, it is the world's first 4K OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certifications.
Odyssey 3D is Samsung's first 3D OLED monitor
The Odyssey 3D (G90XF) is Samsung's first glasses-free 3D monitor. It comes in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, and both variants use a 4K OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It has one DisplayPort 1.4 port and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
It features a lenticular lens and a stereo front-facing camera to track your eyes and show you 3D imagery without the need for special 3D glasses. It was first showcased in August 2024 during the Gamescom event.
Samsung hasn't announced the pricing or availability details for its new OLED monitors, and that information could be released in the next few weeks.
