Samsung launched its latest Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S24 FE, in India in November 2024 at a starting price of INR 59,999. Well, now, almost five months later, the phone is available to purchase in the country for as low as INR 39,999.
One of India’s e-commerce platforms, Flipkart, during its Big Savings Day, is offering the Galaxy S24 FE at INR 39,999, calling it the ‘Biggest Price Drop Ever.’ That’s for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is also on discount. Instead of the launch price of INR 65,999, it is now available for INR 45,999.
If you make the payment using Axis Bank Flipkart credit card, you will get additional 5% discount, bringing down the effective price of 8GB+128GB model to INR 37,999 and that of the 8GB+256GB model to INR 43,699.
At this price, the Galaxy S24 FE offers a lot of value for your money, which wasn’t the case when it was launched. What’s interesting is that the phone is now even cheaper than the Galaxy A56, which offers fewer features. If you have been eyeing the Galaxy S24 FE, now is a great time to get it.
Galaxy S24 FE features
The Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The phone uses the Exynos 2400e chipset. Although it is currently running on Android 14-based One UI 6.1, Samsung is soon going to offer it Android 15-based One UI 7.0.
For imaging, you get three cameras at the rear, a 50MP primary camera with dual-pixel PDAF and OIS, a 12MP ultra wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, PDAF, and OIS. At the front, there is a 10MP camera.
The phone packs a 4,700mAh battery and supports wired charging at up to 25W and wireless charging at up to 15W. It also offers reverse wireless charging so that you can charge your Galaxy Buds on the go.
For connectivity, you get dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers. The phone has an aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ back panel and comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
