The Galaxy S23 series went official less than a week ago, and we have been using various devices in the new flagship lineup since then, looking inside every nook and cranny to see what's changed on the hardware front and the software front.
While it's no trouble finding out the hardware specs of a new device, what can be hard is to find every feature introduced in a newer version of Samsung's software, especially with minor upgrades like One UI 5.1, which debuted with the Galaxy S23 lineup.
One UI 5.0 vs One UI 5.1: What's new?
But digging deep is part of our job description, and we have done just that in our early days with the Galaxy S23 series phones. In our latest video, we walk you through some of the new features that One UI 5.1 brings to Galaxy users following the huge One UI 5.0 update from last year.
But instead of boring you by rambling on, we would recommend you watch the video embedded above. A 0.1 upgrade might sound small, but there are still enough new features, changes and improvements that should further improve the already excellent user experience on modern Samsung smartphones.
Again, we've not had the time to use these phones for long at the time of this writing so we may discover more new features going forward. If that happens, expect a follow-up video, but for now, go watch the one we already have by hitting the play button above!
And remember: Samsung will be bringing One UI 5.1 to older devices through software updates in the coming weeks and months. The company hasn't yet said anything about that officially, but we will let you know once we have more details to share on those updates.
