Before Android 14 and One UI 6.0 arrive for Galaxy devices as 2023's biggest software update, Samsung has the One UI 5.1.1 update to tide us over. Like One UI 4.1.1, One UI 5.1.1 debuted on Samsung's new foldable Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones and will eventually make its way to older devices.
x.1.1 versions of One UI are aimed at Samsung's foldables and tablets and introduce features that can take advantage of those form factors. However, they also have general improvements that those who own a Galaxy phone that doesn't fold can take advantage of, and the same is true for One UI 5.1.1.
So which Galaxy devices are eligible for One UI 5.1.1? Well, the only devices that are sure to get it are going to be Samsung's foldable devices and tablets, and you can check out the full list below.
Galaxy devices eligible for One UI 5.1.1 update
- Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+, and Galaxy Tab S7 FE
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
- Galaxy Tab A8
- Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
- Galaxy Tab Active 3
- Galaxy Tab Active 4
As already mentioned, One UI 5.1.1 is only for Samsung's foldables and tablets, even if it does have features that don't need a foldable or tablet to work. Those features will be bundled with the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for other devices – you can check if your device is eligible for Android 14 / One UI 6.0 here.
