The Galaxy S25 series is eligible, but what about others?

Every major new One UI update for Galaxy devices, which is accompanied by a newer version of Android, gets a beta program before the official release. We’ve also seen beta programs for minor One UI updates where the Android version remains the same, though Samsung has mostly limited them to its foldable phones.
Samsung is changing things up this year for One UI 8.5. It is holding a traditional beta program that isn’t exclusive to Galaxy Z smartphones and will be held in six markets (the US, the UK, Korea, Germany, Poland, and India). Yes, the list is quite short initially. Only the Galaxy S25 series is eligible at the beginning, and only the original three models. As usual, the FE model is not getting the beta, and neither is the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung will most likely extend the beta program to other devices later down the line, and we will be sure to update this list when that happens, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back later.
