Yesterday, Samsung unveiled a new trade-in program in South Korea and said it plans to bring the program to other countries soon. Today, the company announced that its improved ‘Galaxy Trade-In' program is live in France.
Samsung's improved phone trade-in program is available in France
The company's improved ‘Galaxy Trade-In' program allows people to sell their existing or used Galaxy phones directly via Samsung's website. They don't need to buy a new phone while trading in their old device. This is the difference between the company's new and old trade-in programs.
Samsung says it started this program to boost the value of Galaxy devices for users in the long term. It claims its new trade-in program will be simple and secure. The South Korean firm has partnered with Likewize to operate this program.
While Samsung didn't reveal the eligible devices for its trade-in program in France, its press release for the South Korean market listed eligible phones. They are listed below:

- Galaxy S21 Ultra

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra on January 22. This trade-in program comes just a couple of weeks before the launch of the Galaxy S25 series.
