Before CES 2024 starts, Samsung has unveiled its range of LCD, QLED, Neo QLED, OLED, and Micro LED TVs. The company also unveiled its new projectors and soundbars. We will talk about Samsung's new Premiere lineup of projectors, featuring four models, and all of them are being showcased at the CES 2023 expo in Las Vegas, USA.

Samsung's new The Premiere lineup of projectors includes four models: The Premiere 5, The Premiere 7, The Premiere 9, and the Premiere 8K. Samsung hasn't announced the availability or pricing of its new projectors, and we expect to get more information about those aspects in the coming weeks.

The Premiere 5

The Premiere 5 is the cheapest Samsung projector that will be launched this year. It is claimed to be the most compact triple-laser UST (Ultra Short Throw) projector, measuring 5 x 5 x 8 inches. It can project a 100-inch 4K image when it is 17 inches away from the surface. As usual from Samsung, we can expect several smart features in its projectors, and The Premiere 5 features automatic color, focus, and keystone adjustments, making your life easier. Its Screen Off feature lets you continue playing audio through its 10W speakers while turning off picture projection.

It comes with a tabletop stand that lets it project the picture on any surface, turning it into an interactive touchscreen of sorts. You can use your fingers to control the UI, play games, and even use educational apps. It has a customizable dashboard that has several widgets, including a clock, sticky notes, and weather. It also features wireless screen mirroring through Samsung's smartphones and tablets.

The Premiere 7 and The Premiere 9

Both, The Premiere 7 and The Premiere 9, are 4K UST (Ultra Short Throw) laser projectors. They are brighter than last year's models, LSP7T and LSP9T, respectively. They also feature Dolby Atmos for more immersive sound. Of course, they both run Tizen OS, offering instant access to all popular music and video streaming apps.

The Premiere 8K is Samsung's most premium projector ever

The Premiere 8K is Samsung's most high-end and feature-rich projector ever. It is also the company's first 8K projector. It features 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, which Samsung claims is bright enough to watch content in conditions with regular lighting in a room. It can project up to 150-inch content when the device is 16 feet away from a surface. Yes, there isn't enough 8K content right now, and that's why Samsung is using AI technology to better upscale 4K or even lower resolution content to 8K.

Similar to The Premiere 5, The Premiere 8K also has the Lightwarp feature that turns any surface into a touchscreen, letting you interact with content and user interface.

This flagship projector also features a 100W built-in speaker system with an 8.2.2-channel setup and Dolby Atmos. Its Sound On Screen technology makes you feel like the audio is coming from the picture that's projected on a surface. It has wireless connectivity through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, while signals from other inputs, like HDMI, are sent to the projector wirelessly through the Wireless One Connect Box that can be placed up to 33 feet away from the projector.

Samsung's new projectors run Tizen OS

All these new projectors run Tizen, bringing all the media streaming apps, wireless screen mirroring, Samsung Health, SmartThings, Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant, AirPlay 2, Tap View, and other advanced features. It also features Samsung TV Plus and Samsung Gaming Hub. The latter allows you to stream games from cloud game streaming services from the likes of Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Utomik.
