Samsung has released a new update for its Quick Share app, which you're probably familiar with if you own more than one Galaxy mobile device. Through the update, the filesharing app has received a handful of improvements, both visual and functional.
Quick Share just got updated to version 13.3.02.10. The changelog mentions four major changes to the app. The latest Quick Share version displays devices in the order they were found, and it now shows more devices per line, with improved icon color for found devices. Furthermore, the new Quick Share update adds a status notification guide for when devices are waiting to receive files, and the app now provides a URL display and usage guide when users copy a link.
Quick Share quick toggle broken? Not a problem
The latest Quick Share update appears to be causing a minor issue for some users in that it seemingly breaks the Quick Share quick toggle — as shown in the screen recording below.
Thankfully, this is a temporary issue, and we can confirm that it goes away if you restart your Galaxy phone or tablet. So, if you've received the latest Quick Share update and are having issues interacting with the app via the quick toggle, try rebooting your Samsung device, and everything should go back to normal.
You should be able to grab the latest version of Quick Share from the Galaxy Store. Once again, it's version 13.3.02.10. Once you apply the update, feel free to let us know if you've encountered the quick toggle issue and if rebooting your device fixed it. If the problem persists, know that Quick Share still works, although you have to enable or disable it through the Settings app rather than the convenient quick toggle.
