Galaxy Unpacked 2024 went live from Paris two weeks ago. The launch event, which Samsung streamed live on YouTube, was packed with exciting new Galaxy product launches over the span of one hour. The event came and went, but as far as Samsung is concerned, Unpacked 2024 only marked the beginning of its journey leading up to the Olympics.

Paris was the perfect choice for Samsung's Unpacked event because the 2024 Summer Olympic Games are hosted in the same city and because Samsung is an Official Olympic Partner and sponsor.

Right now, Samsung has two big jobs in Paris. One is to support the 2024 Olympics, and the other is to promote its latest Galaxy products. Speaking of the latter, Samsung has just announced a new pop-up experience in Paris, which will open its doors on July 27 and again on August 29.

New pop-up Olympic Rendezvous

Samsung's new pop-up experience, located at Square Marigny, promises to “transport guests through a range of immersive experiences.” Once again, Samsung collaborated with award-winning architect Jean Nouvel to imagine the new pop-up store. The same architect also helped design the Rendezvous Experience Store on Champs-Elysees 125 earlier this year.

The pop-up Rendezvous store sells the latest devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, and the Galaxy Ring. But more than that, the Experience Space also tells the story of Samsung and how it supported the Olympic Games for nearly four decades.

The story continues after the video

Inside the experience store, at its center, resides a spherical screen resembling planet Earth, called the Openness Monument. The store also features a bespoke foldable wall created from 171 reused Galaxy Z Fold 5 devices.

To help visitors and customers remember the occasion, Samsung will gift a Paris 2024 Olympic Pin to visitors who take part in the Galaxy AI experience or buy any of the Galaxy products on sale.

For the Olympic Games, Samsung will open the doors to its pop-up Rendezvous store on July 27 and close them on August 11. Then, Samsung will reopen the store from August 29 to September 8 for the Paralympic Games.
