At least three new budget phones are coming to India, Samsung indirectly confirmed through its support pages. The Galaxy M23 5G, the Galaxy A04, and the Galaxy A04e are now officially headed India, albeit pricing and availability details remain unconfirmed.
Nevertheless, Samsung has put up support pages for the three upcoming budget phones on its official website for India, which means that the company is preparing to release these devices soon.
Galaxy M23 5G, Galaxy A04, and Galaxy A04e quick specifications
All three smartphones have already been announced and/or released in one market or another, so their specifications, for the most part, are known. Assuming that India will get the same specs as everyone, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect from the upcoming budget trio.
The Galaxy M23 5G features the Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC and 4/6GB of RAM. It carries a 6.6-inch TFT LCD with 120Hz capabilities and a resolution of 2408 x 1080. The triple camera setup consists of a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. There's also an 8MP selfie sensor embedded in the Infinity-V cutout. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging.
The Galaxy A04 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P36 chipset and 4/6GB of RAM. It carries a 65.-inch PLS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720. There are two rear-facing cameras, including a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has a 5MP resolution. The device relies on a 5,000mAh battery.
Lastly, the Galaxy A04e. Samsung has yet to confirm the chipset under the hood, but it may be a MediaTek Helio G35. Other specs include a 6.5-inch PLS LCD with a 1600 x 720-pixel count, a 13MP wide camera next to a 2MP depth sensor, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery.
All three budget phones run Android 12 and One UI 4.1, albeit the A04 and A04e ship with the simplified One UI Core 4.1 experience.
