Although the Galaxy A33 and A53 have leaked left and right, Samsung has somehow managed to save at least one thing for today's live unveiling. Namely, the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds Live earbuds are getting a rerelease later in April, with a new color coming to complement the “stylish design of the Galaxy A series.”
Samsung hasn't revealed any new wireless earbuds at the previous major Unpacked event — where the Galaxy S22 launched — but it's keeping the existing Buds lineup fresh with the addition of a new color. Samsung calls it “Onyx” and will add it to the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds Live color palettes next month.
What are all the color options available so far?
As of this writing, the Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds are available in four color options: graphite, olive, white, and violet.
Samsung offers the Galaxy Buds Live in five color options: black, blue, bronze, red, white.
Color availability differs by market, and as far as the new Onyx color option goes, Samsung hasn't said anything as to whether or not it will get a global release. We'll keep you updated, but it is worth noting that Galaxy A53 pre-order customers can get a pair of Buds Live earbuds for free.
The Onyx Galaxy Buds 2 and Onyx Galaxy Buds Live should cost the same as the existing color options: $149 and $169, respectively.
